Camp Olympia

Camp Olympia is a sports day camp, who’s mission is to inspire their campers to become the best possible versions of themselves while having FUN! They approached me to create a logo and branding design that visually encompassed their values built around fun, sport and play.

The logo took visual inspiration from the Greek mythology of Mount Olympus, and the Olympic games. Harnessing a Greek styled font the logo has a light ark to it in order to show flexibility and playfulness. The lightning bolt is an homage to the Zeus the ruler of Olympia, but also symbolizes the boundless energy that youth have. The bright orange colour portrays an fun energetic feel, bringing memories of warm summer days.

With the creation of this logo the client also wanted to be able to have simplified versions of the logo for screen-printing and embroidery to create camp apparel. I created an isolated version of that lightning bolt which has become a strong graphic centre for the brand.
